I’m getting older. It’s no secret. My eyes are also starting to ATTEMPT to fail me during the evening. Especially with staring at a computer screen for more than four or five hours straight at a time. When crafting time becomes available, it’s usually in the middle of the night, and it usually comes with me having to make sure that stitches are perfect, or I’m cutting in the right area.

Enter the Brightech Lightview Rolling Base LED lamp and all is okay in my world. I’m able to do fine projects that require me to look a bit closer than my eyes can see – for example distressing jeans for a dancer at the last minute, and I can knit and count stitches properly.
It’s a HEAVY lamp, so assemble it where you’re going to have it stay otherwise, taking it up and down stairs can become cumbersome. I do love that it’s on a rolling base and can easily move between rooms and not scratch up my wooden floors. I’m not sure how it behaves on carpet as the only place carpeted in my home are my stairs. The base is sturdy though, and that’s why I say assemble where you’re going to use it most.
This particular lamp is perfect for sewing handiwork, knitting, crocheting or even for hardcore puzzle assemblers. It comes in black and white and has an adjustable stand and swivel arm.
About the Bright Tech Magnifying Floor Lamp
The Brightech Lightview Pro Dimmable LED Magnifying Floor lamp was designed to ease your close up focus, even with vision problems such as aging eyes or macular degeneration.
This lamp boasts the largest authentic diopter glass magnifier lens available, 4.5″ wide, with a 15 inch+ focal range. The 3 diopter glass will magnify whatever you are working on up to 175%. It won’t get hot so you can enjoy your hobbies comfortably.
With adjustable light settings, you can set your light to be cooler or warmer depending on your preferences. I tend to enjoy true white light, so I up the cooler lights ALL the time.
Don’t tell anyone, but this light is great for those of you who may be
Of course, you’ll see more shots of the lamp when we do the full craft room redux (because Nathaniel is now in college and doesn’t want to “share” his room with a crafty mother) so stay tuned for that!
Until then Happy Crafting, and be prepared to share your work for 2019!
