My Epiphanie London Camera Bag

Product Review

The older I get, the more I realize that it’s high time to start treating myself to the best things, instead of things that are meant to tide me over until. Now, that’s not to say that I buy top of the line everything. As much as I want all the things, I have to be a little bit picky about what I actually do invest in. My camera and my camera carrier have to be top of the line. That’s just who I’ve always been. Epiphanie Bags is one of three camera bag lines that I’ve been drooling over for a couple of years. Now, I get to welcome the Epiphanie London camera bag into my home. I picked it up during the Christmas sale, and waited for it via USPS almost with as much urgency as I did my brand new camera. You should read that story one of these days. It’s right >HERE<

Epiphanie Bags London

I purchased a second hand Epiphanie camera bag a couple of years ago, but as my lens collection grew, and my need to NOT carry three different bags whenever I left the house or went to a conference. I think that I found one. I may be eyeing another one. I don’t have problems, I promise. THIS year, I got my very first grown up bag for my very grown up camera. The Epiphanie London camera bag is full grain leather, and so gorgeous. Caramel colored, and ready for some character to be put into it, I can’t wait until it’s full of the markings of my travel and photography adventures.

My bag has to be large enough to fit several things. My laptop, my camera body, and my lenses. I also need to be able to hold my wallet and my cell phone and any cords that I need when I’m out and about. I can, and that makes me happy. I can’t even talk about how long it took me to figure out which bag I was going to pick. I mean, it was featured on Mom 2.0’s list for travel bloggers to have this Christmas, so the seed may have been planted then. I’m my own worst enemy, or friend? Either way I’m awesome.

Epiphanie Bags London

I should probably do an entire photo of everything that fits in here, but I’m just so enamored with all of the pretty photos of this bag, that I’ll save it for later. Today. You get the bag, and you get the size of the bag in relation to a human. Of course one that is a bit shorter than the average human, but a human nonetheless. I’m 5 feet 2 inches and a 3/4 of an inch on top of that. The bag with the shoulder strap not adjusted hits me right at the hip. I carry it with the hand handles mostly though. I’m sure when I decide to hit the road with Mr. Houseful in the new year, I may take the camera basket out, and use it as a cute weekender that will STILL fit my camera and laptop comfortably.

If you want to see a peek inside, you’ll have to wait another week or so. I’m trying to decide if I want to do a video or just a photo heavy blog post. My laziness knows no bounds. I’m just real with mine.

I will say that the only foreseeable issue that I may have is the insertion of the laptop, and that’s not the fault of Epiphanie, but my stubborness. The zipper on top is a bit snug, and while my laptop, a Microsoft Surface Book, is small, it is half an inch larger than the accommodating size listed on the website, so sizing is true. This bag is said to fit laptops 13″ and smaller, and mine is 13.5″. Know that if you do choose to purchase this and put your laptop into the bag and it’s larger than 13″ it’s not the fault of Epiphanie Bags. Just to be clear. Ahem.

Let’s also give it up one time for Mr. Houseful who is getting JIGGY with the photography lately. He also didn’t want to give my big camera body back after taking these shots, so I have to keep my eye on him. I’d like to think that he just likes the subject he was working with. I’m not talking about the bag people, although the bag is amazing.

You are so right, the more one ages the more they deserve to treat themselves. I’ve learned to appreciate so many things about myself through the past years. I think this camera bag would compliment me well!

I LOVE that bag! It’s so stylish. It’s much better than the standard black bag I see most of the time.

This sounds like a great weekender bag. It wouldn’t fit my laptop, but I could stuff my tablet in there.

That’s a camera bag? I never would have guessed! I love the classic leather look and all the room it has. We really need to invest a good camera bag too.

I love your camera bag! It looks so nostalgic and yet it looks tough enough to take a beating and still hold together. It also looks big enough to hold a ton of stuff. That’s the kind of bags that I like!

Can’t wait to get this big bag for my camera, multiple lenses, diary etc. The color is really superb to see. 1 thing I want to ask that is is there any addition with this design for my sister too? By the way, the no-2 picture made my day and I will try this style today. Thanks and keep it up!
