Birds Eye Flavor Full vegetables saved dinner this evening. There are plenty of late afternoon audibles that need to be called in the Houseful of Nicholes. Especially when it comes to dinner and a busy day. And trust me, these last couple of days were BUSY days. Like crazy busy. Like, didn’t know what I was making for dinner until 6:30 pm busy. It gets hectic sometimes, and while I would love to do meals from scratch I can’t every single night, because I’m tired. On those nights, only half of my meal may be from “scratch” while I go to my Birds Eye Flavor Full veggies for support. Usually we do straight veggies, but the new flavors from the flavor full line really kick it up a notch. Buffalo Cauliflower, Ranch Broccoli and Sour Cream and Onion Potatoes.
For this dish, I just created super thin burger patties that I fried up until they were crispy and then added them to grilled cheese sandwiches as we were making them. I seasoned the ground beef with some local seasonings that I purchased from the 61st Street Farmers Market vendor Pinch of Spice – and the names that he gives the spices are WONDERFUL. I happened to use Buffy’s Slayer Helper in this mixture to perfectly compliment the Birds Eye Flavor Full Sour Cream and Onion Potatoes.
The potatoes were super easy to make, just pop them into the microwave for the recommended time, and they’re ready to go as soon as you take them out. The trifecta said that they tasted like chips! I’m not sure how they compare potato chips, but the flavor was spot on.
I know now that I have great amounts of tasty sides that I can grab in a pinch, and feel very secure in knowing that they will do the trick even when I can’t. You can try one of the flavor full veggies today! Download this $1.00 off coupon . You can download it, and use it through 12/31/15.
