Tyson Any’tizers Have New Flavors! *Recipe

Cooking, Social Fabric, Sponsored

I’m pretty certain that there are some of you who have had the same thought running through your head at one time or another. What can I make to eat? Enter Tyson’s Any’tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz, and you have options. A lot more than you may think.

As a mom to someone who is almost 13 years old, I always have to make sure that the meal that I prepare is filling enough for him. Wait, why am I acting as if the cellist is the only one with a stomach that seems bottomless. The ladybug and twizzlers can eat their fair share of food as well.

I was challenged to create quick meals with the two new Tyson Any’tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz and I hope that I rose to the occasion. The two new flavors are the Mango Habanero (a sweet spicy blend) and Sweet Garlic Glazed. For these two flavors, I started with a household staple, rice.

My children were given the Sweet Garlic Glazed Wyngz with the Asian Zing dipping sauce featured on the back of the bag. It consisted of Sweet Chili sauce, sweet & sour sauce and orange marmalade.  Instead of using the sauce just for dipping, we drizzled it over the rice and served it up! Plates were cleaned, and tummies were happy.

For our meal, Mr. Houseful and I decided to try our hand at wraps, but ones filled with rice so that we wouldn’t have to load up on the nuggets, and therefore have more fillings than loading up on bunches of nuggets and lettuce. Don’t worry, no fast food joints will be calling me on my ability to make wraps, BUT, this one wrap filled me up, and was satisfying. Here I used ingredients that I would use on a normal wrap. Cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, a dressing (whatever you want) and I feel that all that was missing was avocado chunks, which I didn’t have when I made these.
DSC_2482Dinner literally took me all of 20 minutes from prep to table time, and everyone was happy. I can see this being a life saver on those days when I’m just too busy to get dinner started early in the slow cooker, or when I can’t carve out an hour or two to prepare dinner in the evening. Thank goodness that’s not all of the time, but when I am pressed for time, I’m glad that I can turn to Tyson.

If you would like to purchase these new flavors they are available starting today at Walmart in your frozen food aisle.
