I know that I’m not a deal blogger, but when I find ways to ease the cost of money in the house that seemingly eats toilet paper, I’m game to share it. It doesn’t hurt that the specific toilet tissue, SCOTT® Tissue, has also partnered with my favorite fundraising program Box Tops for Education. The even better point is that it’s available online and at most big box stores, including Amazon, Target, Walmart & Dollar General – which happens to be down the street from my house, so no wasting copious amounts of gas to get there. SCOTT® helps to put more money back into your pocket and can magnify that when purchased at Dollar General.
I’m going to be perfectly honest here. I have children who seem to thrive on seeing just how much toilet paper they can use whenever they use the facilities. Especially that Sir Twizzler. Did I mention one day I caught him flushing a roll down the toilet to see it spin off the roll? Yep, that’s what I live with on a daily basis. The bottom three create toilet paper families while they are indisposed – I guess to keep their time in there full of imaginative play. Hey, two birds, one stone. I get it, but my wallet hates it.
So, I have put together this post to let you know how to tell if you and your family use too much toilet tissue.
1. It has its own budget line.
Seriously. You’re spending more than 5% of your monthly income on toilet tissue, you’re doing it wrong. Or you have small children. Either or.
2. You get nervous when you see 12 rolls left.
That’s like only having half a roll left for your household. SOUND THE ALARMS! It’s DefCon 20 in here!
3. You have to plunge your toilet at least once a week.
No explanation needed.
4. There is a roll of SCOTT® in each bedroom and each room of the house. For you know, reasons.
Some of us have allergies and cry a lot while we watch television.
5. You can create a toilet paper roll craft every day of the week, for every member of your family.
Reduce, reuse, recycle!
If you do find that you fit the mold of one of these items, then why not save money on the tissue that you have to buy? Check out your nearest online store and sign up for their Bounty Program/Prime to save more on SCOTT® 1000!
Have fun and happy shopping!
