Oak Lawn Chuck E. Cheese Hosts Fundraiser for Advocate Children’s Hospital 10/13

I’m sort of an enigma. I like taking my children to Chuck E. Cheese’s, and I’ve even hosted a birthday party for the twins there. I do have secrets on how I stay cool, but that’s in another post. I’m happy to announce that the Oak Lawn Chuck E. Cheese’s is hosting an all day fundraiser for the children of Advocate Children’s Hospital on Thursday, October 13th. I know how parents and siblings feel first hand having to see someone they love in the hospital, and I love that families are able to donate funds while having fun with their children.

Last December, the twins had their birthday party, and they had a GREAT time during the VIP event. Don’t believe me, take a look. Well, this is their big sister having a time!

Thinking of joining me next Thursday? If so, grab this coupon and make sure to make those dollars stretch! Look at that, we even want you to save money while helping to save funds for Advocate Children’s Hospital. The event happens all day Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Chuck E. Cheese’s located at 4031 95th Street (95th and Pulaski). 15% of the total sales will go to Advocate Children’s Hospital, and a night of fun will be had.

Of course, since we homeschool, we’re planning to go as soon as they open, and run off a little bit of energy before larger crowds come. You’re more than welcome to come, and if you do, make sure you say hi! I’m glad to know that with the safety measures set in place, I can sit and catch up on grading papers while the houseful of littles run and laugh while practicing their gross motor skills (see how I tie that in?) They also get a chance to practice math as well. I own this homeschooling thing so hard.

It’s nice to break up the busyness of the new school year with a little bit of fun. I know that sports are fun, and for some, school is fun (hello me!) but just being able to get OUT of the house is so pertinent these days. Breaking away from the screens and getting a little bit of movement in.

So, will I see you there? I hope so!
