I’m sort of an enigma. I like taking my children to Chuck E. Cheese’s, and I’ve even hosted a birthday party for the twins there. I do have secrets on how I stay cool, but that’s in another post. I’m happy to announce that the Oak Lawn Chuck E. Cheese’s is hosting an all day fundraiser for the children of Advocate Children’s Hospital on Thursday, October 13th. I know how parents and siblings feel first hand having to see someone they love in the hospital, and I love that families are able to donate funds while having fun with their children.
Last December, the twins had their birthday party, and they had a GREAT time during the VIP event. Don’t believe me, take a look. Well, this is their big sister having a time!

Of course, since we homeschool, we’re planning to go as soon as they open, and run off a little bit of energy before larger crowds come. It’s nice to break up the busyness of the new school year with a little bit of fun. I know that sports are fun, and for some, school is fun (hello me!) but just being able to get OUT of the house is so pertinent these days. Breaking away from the screens and getting a little bit of movement in.
