Hi and welcome to my second post during BlogHers NaBloPoMo series! Today’s prompt is: What is something that you have recently jumped into? And since I mostly jump feet first into EVERYTHING that I do, I’ll whittle it down to overnight conferences. So far, I haven’t been on ANY this year, but my schedule is calling for six in the next four months.
National Box Tops University
Type A Parent Conference
Brands & Bloggers Summit
BlogHer
The Niche Mommy Conference
Blogalicious.
I’ll be travelling to two new places – Charlotte, NC and Las Vegas, NV and I’ll be going to all but three of these places alone. YIKES. Now, I’m far from a social wallflower, but sometimes it’s hard to find your spot in a place that is SO dominated by the same people everywhere that you go. That’s not necessarily a bad thing – it usually means that there is indeed a way for me to be a little more known.
I would LOVE for someone to stop me on the street and say – HEY! I know you! You’re Mrs. Houseful, and I read your blog daily! (but purely in a non stalker type way) and I would LOVE for brands to seek me out because they are genuinely interested in what I have to say, as opposed to just how many people I can reach for them. I would like to become one of the go to people on parenting multiples and running a household all while continuing to make time for herself and her husband.
For those of you who have been with me for a while, I thank you for always reading, and passing the blog on. It’s all about sharing, isn’t it? And it’s days like today, where I look back at the beginning of the blog, and how I had so much terror at having twins enter our Houseful, and smile knowingly. I feel like there are days where I can do it with my eyes closed, and then there are days where I don’t even WANT to open my eyes. However, the jump that I made in order to chronicle this journey with my family is one that I will forever be grateful for.
What have you recently jumped into? Is that a good or bad thing?

And that will be one of the best jumps you ever take. Challenging, but the pay off is SO worth it!
