Free Your Mind: Harman/Kardon Sound System Showcase

Uncategorized

Is there anyone out there that enjoys a good sound system while road tripping? You know what I’m talking about. Feeling the beat of the music deep in your bones. I don’t care how old I get, there is something about the bass of a track making my teeth tremble…if I want it that way. I usually find that I turn up all music by my fun sized babe, Bruno Mars, and his inspiration Michael Jackson. I also crank every single old school gospel track way up too. I’m an equal opportunist. Milton Brunson, Timothy Wright and the Mississippi Mass Choir will ALWAYS get the volume cranked up to the highest turn. Music is the universal language, and it seems to be what so many people turn to when they are sitting behind the wheel of their car for long periods of time.

As a matter of fact, music surrounded this entire press trip that we took. From staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, and being entrenched in some of the music greats, to live band karaoke on our last night, music was everywhere we turned.

One of the things that I can’t really shy away from on a press trip is a challenge that they give to get to know their brand a little bit better. When we were guests of Kia Motors America in San Diego last week, they encouraged us to try out their Harman/Kardon sound system, and make a video. Well, we did that. And we did it throwing back to the 90s when En Vogue was at the top of the girl group game.

I was part of a group not on shying away from this challenge, and my goodness, the sound system in the Kia fleet of vehicles is amazing. What you’re hearing is our mobile phones connecting through bluetooth, and playing the music that we’re lip synching to. We got into FULL character, and had a ton of fun making it. I’m pretty sure if the veterinary clinic, we parked next to, was open, the animals would have had a field day howling and purring along with us.

One important piece of information. I do NOT own the rights to this song. I’m not making any money off it, as there aren’t any affiliate links, or clicks for payments embedded in this post at all. So listen, and enjoy it for what it is. Just some ladies, having fun testing out the Harman/Kardon sound system in their Kia vehicle.

Also, the lighting that comes through these windows, even when you’re backed up to what looks like a forest? The best! If you’re wondering, the video was recorded on my Samsung Galaxy S 7 Edge. I may not hate this phone as much as I did when I had to give the Note 7 back. To be honest, the hate is only because I had to trade in, not because it’s a horrid phone. True story.

So, I hope this put a smile on your face, and I hope that you have a fantastic weekend.

KIAs, my heart- they definitely have SOUL- and SOUND- the Harman sound systems are amazing to cruise in! It’s just one of the reasons I have KIA on my short list of makes for my next vehicle.

Harman/Kardon is the gold standard of audio. I think at this point, they’re right up there with Bose. I know I drove a Kia recently, and that radio was absolutely thumping!

Ooooh nice. We have Harman/Kardan speakers in our entertainment system in the house, and those bad boys are awesome. Love this brand of speakers. That alone is enough to make me consider a Kia. LOL
