Honorees include: Restaurateur and Book Author Karyn Calabrese, CEO of Today’s

Group Susanna Jung, CEO & Founder of Chicago Toy & Game Mary Couzin, NBC
Chicago Reporter Natalie Martinez, and BlogHer Founders Lisa Stone, Jory
DesJardins and Elisa Camahort Page. Anupy Singla, celebrity author, entrepreneur,
and 2013 Women Driving Excellence honoree, will emcee the program.
Program elements begin at 10:30 a.m. and include: a hit musical performance from
Broadway in Chicago’s “The Phantom of the Opera”, a Chinese New Year Lion and
Ribbon Dance provided by St. Therese Chinese Catholic School, vocal stylings and
Cabaret Concert from popular family TV host Miss Lori that will make you smile, a
“Stretching Your Reach” presentation that will have you mix, connect, and stretch from
national fitness expert Andrea Metcalf, and a live broadcast of the Chicagonista LIVE!
talk show with co-hosts Nancy Loo, MJ Tam, Beth Rosen, Duong Sheahan, and David
Grotto. Featured guests, along with usual chatter about Chicago’s hot topics, will be
former Olympian Nancy Swider-Peltz, Atrium Wealth Advisors, and a Nissan Product
Specialist. Prizes, including Mini iPads, will be given away during the show.
Women Driving Excellence will be amplified throughout the day on various social
media platforms and will utilize the hashtag #WDE14. More information can be found
