Last year, I had the pleasure to attend the first Women Driving Excellence program at the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place. It highlighted women who inspire, women who lead, and women who empower and it was full of thought-provoking speeches and lots of laughs. This female heavy celebration is exactly what’s needed in the seemingly male dominated auto show week. Some place where we can celebrate all things female led!
This year, the program takes place on Tuesday, February 17th starting at 10 am, and will highlight the women who start, accelerate, fuel and steer others to excellence? Notice a theme? You should, because women are multi-faceted and fantastic. I know because I happen to be one! This year will be sponsored by Nissan and produced by The Chicago Tribune in conjunction with Beth Rosen and MJ Tam of ChicagonistaLIVE , which will also be broadcast live that same day!
During this event, attendees will be able to network together, and have a portion of the program facilitated by NaWBO (National Women’s Business Organization) & EPWNG (Exclusive Professional Women’s Networking Group). The honorees recognition portion will be empowering (I know it!), so be prepared to take lots of notes! The ChicagonistaLIVE show promises to bring some fun and co-host Beth Rosen, MJ Tam, Duong , and Nancy Loo hope to include you in on the conversation. This year, they have added an educational portion for social experts. With 2 amazing speakers who walk the walk and talk the talk when it comes to social video.
If that isn’t enough for you, you will also be able to enjoy one of the largest auto shows in America during the breakout sessions. Being able to walk hundreds of thousands of square footage with the newest automobiles and concept cars out there, it should be a day where you leave inspired AND meeting your 10,000 step per day requirements! I’m ready to see what all of the honorees have up their sleeves, and how I can leave feeling ready to tackle the rest of this year in my business, and personal life.
