Thread Filled Tuesdays

Sewing

So, first off, I have a confession. I’m moving Thread Filled Tuesdays to Thread Filled Thursdays because my inability to let alliteration go is making me. However, I have one more looksie for you all.

Last week, I made quite a few things for some clients and for my Etsy Shop.

Here we go:

A second Dog Under My Desk Daytripper. This one was for a client of mine, and I LOVE IT! I almost didn’t want to give it up, but purple is not a color of mine, so it was a bit easier than I thought. I feel like this one sewed up much better than the first one that I did, and I’m looking forward to making another one.

And yes, I took all pictures in an unprofessional way. Essentially, as soon as that bad boy was hot off the sewing machine, I went to snapping. So no stark white background for it this time. Next time, I promise.

These potholders are all from Michelle Patterns, and are her Just A Pinch Potholders. Such a super cute way to use up fabric scraps AND protect your fingers when taking hot things out of the oven! These are all in my Houseful Of Stitches Etsy Shop, and I can’t wait to see who becomes the owners of all of these! Michelle Patterns Just A Pinch Potholder Michelle Patterns Just A Pinch Potholder Michelle Patterns Just A Pinch Potholder Michelle Patterns Just A Pinch Potholder Michelle Patterns Just A Pinch Potholder Here I have a passport holder that a friend of mine contacted me about. She needs one to hold eight passports and I went to work on trying to figure out one that holds six first. Good thing that I had One Shabby Chick’s pattern to use. It’s a fantastic use of scraps as well. This one won’t be going to my friend though because of two things. It’s missing two pockets for two passports, and the interfacing was too thick, so I will be making two more and then sending it over. One Shabby Chick Passport HolderHow about you? Are any of you working on any sewing projects? Share them with me! I love looking at what you’re working on!

You are so crazy talented. If only I could sew half is good as this I could knock out my dress in no time.
