Thread Filled Thursdays

Thread Filled Thursdays

This week, I was busy traveling, so I don’t have a lot of stuff to talk about, but I did want to highlight those folks who joined in our linky party last week! Andrea from Mouse In My Pocket and Aaronica from The Crunchy Mommy dropped off some links of what they have sewn up, and it lets me know that I’m in good company!

Aaronica made herself a maternity wardrobe capsule, and I think that she looks fantastic. She gives all details of the patterns that she sewed up in her post.

Thread Filled Thursdays - Features

I do wish that I knew how to sew when I was pregnant. I think that I would have been so much more comfortable, and I would have figured out how to make stuff that could go back to being worn for nursing too.

Andrea, shows us her design process for her quilts in her submission for Thread Filled Thursdays.

Thread Filled Thursdays Submissions

I’ve completed a total of three quilt tops, and I STILL don’t know how to really design anything, so I’m going to make sure to cozy up with her lessons and try my hand at having quilts designed, cut, sewn, and quilted by me for some peeps this Christmas. Andrea is great with creating structured and “wacky” quilts in no time flat (at least to me.) I met her through Talk’n Tuesdays which was a twitter chat for sewists. I miss it a bunch, and hope that it starts back up soon. If it is still going, apologies, and I’ll try to get back into the swing of things for sure.

And not to leave you without a chance to link up for the rest of the week, you can connect your sewn treasures to this linky party, so I can drool over your projects! If it’s sewn, knit, or crocheted, it fits! Share far and wide, so we can have a little bit of fun right before the weekend!
