The Houseful Is Going Skiing!

Well hello there!

This is the time of year that we REALLY enjoy in our household. Winter Break! Not only does it include the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, but it allows us time to spend with our family without having to worry as much about school schedules and work schedules, and everything else.

This time of year also allows us to take a family vacation and just RELAX. This year, we will be going skiing in the vicinity of Galena, Illinois. We went a couple of years ago when the ladybug was only a couple of months old, and we had a fantastic time. This time around though, I think that I will actually ski.

Here are a couple of flashback photos to get me into the mood, and to give you a glimpse of what you may see when we go skiing next week.

One thing that I remember vividly about this trip, is the fact that we got almost 18 inches of snow. It's really hard to imagine that I only had two children then, one of them being almost newborn and the other being a new third grader. It's memories like this that keep me smiling and appreciative of what we do as a family.

I can not WAIT until our ski trip this year. It's going to be fantastic. And maybe even the ladybug might hit the slopes.
