So, I feel that it needs to be noted that I just became super invested in the Star Wars franchise last year when my children wanted to watch. While I’m a fan of another kind, I totally appreciate what this franchise has done for its fans and the way women are REALLY rocking the future of this series.
With that being said, the poster and trailer were released several days ago, and well, you have to watch it. I love how tense everything is, and the fact that we will get to see much more of Luke Skywalker in this movie. Mark Hamill is my fave – mostly for voice acting, but I digress.
Given the connection that so many folks had with Carrie Fisher, and knowing that this was the last Star Wars film that she participated in, it’s going to be bittersweet.
Here’s the trailer – just sit and watch. It’s worth it.
