Last week, I was featured on Sew Sweetness’ Purse Palooza and I’m pretty excited about my submission! This is the second time that I have participated in a sewing focused blog promotion, and I’m pretty excited. Both times, I’ve featured a pattern from Dog Under My Desk, and this time, it’s the Daytripper pattern.
This is by far one of the most intricate patterns I’ve ever done, and one of the most straightforward as far as instructions, and I’m glad that I was able to feature it on Purse Palooza this year. I’m also hoping that I’m invited back for Purse Palooza 2014 as it truly was an honor to participate.
If you get the chance and have sewn bags from September 30 until now (the cutoff is November 11th) you can enter your bag in the Purse Palooza pool, and try your hand at the chance to win awesome prizes and what not.
The great thing about the Purse Palooza is that you are connected with TONS of bag patterns that you probably didn’t know existed before. You’re also connected with some pretty intimate details of bag patterns that are probably in your queue, waiting for you to sew up (if you’re anything like I am) and just needed someone else to do it first, and then review it. You get all of that here and more. I’m pretty stoked to have been among a ton of great sewists and bag makers in general.
Also, Sara happens to be the creator of all of those great bags that I get to test from time to time! Leave a comment on my post or any other post that you want to, and I’m sure that you’ll love the fact that you clicked on over to visit for a minute or sixty.
So, what are you waiting for? Go for it!
