If you’re looking for a safe and educational place to hang out before Halloween, and live in the Chicagoland area, check out Garfield Park Conservatory on the city’s westside. On Wednesday, October 30th, the Conservatory will open it’s doors from 4pm until 7pm for little ones and their caregivers to take part in a conservatory wide exhibit!
The Garfield Park Conservatory hosts an extra special Halloween themed evening by showcasing live nocturnal animals in the Conservatory’s living collection. Night dwelling animals, such as a fruit bat, owls, and spiders will visit the Conservatory on this special Halloween night. Come learn about these creatures’ special night-time tricks, and get a treat for your efforts! Music, activities, trick or treat stations and more are all part of this special evening. Halloween get-ups are encouraged!
