I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh BGosh. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Here in the midwest of America, we’re supposed to be two weeks into the spring season. Unfortunately we’re not, but that isn’t stopping us from livening up our wardrobes and stepping out to enjoy the weather when we are given an opportunity to do so. We were able to go to our nearest OshKosh B’Gosh store (which is SO much closer than the one by our old house) and spruce up the spring wardrobes of the littles. I miss Nathaniel being able to wear their clothes, especially the overalls. True story – I used to dress us in matching overalls when he was a toddler. It was a cool thing to do, and I still think it’s rather cute. FOCUS!
The ladybug has been growing like a weed lately, and not only is she out of her 4T size that she seemed to stay in for so long, she skipped right to a 6 like she is supposed to be. She’s a lover of dresses, and we have a hard time getting her to wear jeans, so when she saw all of the bright colors and LONG dresses in OshKosh, she was over the moon excited. Not to be outdone, Lil’ Miss was excited too. Usually they want to dress alike, and we had a moment of contention when I picked out a pair of cute polka dot overalls for her to wear with a pink ticking flutter sleeved shirt. She HATED the entire outfit, because it wasn’t a dress (ah to want to dress like your big sister,) which is why this is the safest picture to post of her. No worries, we swung back around and purchased two more dresses and a skirt for Lil Miss, and now Earth is back spinning on its axis.
I know for many of us, we’ve come to know OshKosh as the purveyor of denim overalls, and plain jeans, but I was really excited to see so much bright in the store. I may have had a twinge of jealousy at the fact that none of the great styles were available in my size – especially the nautical line, which we’ll be going back for soon as well!
I’m not sure if I can really tell you which dress the Ladybug liked the most. What I can tell you though is they are all very friendly with playing outside, and she has no trouble putting the clothes on herself. She’s a lover of LONG dresses just like I am, and appreciates a good maxi to stroll around the neighborhood, or farmer’s market in. Paired with a great set of strappy sandals (all great pairs at OshKosh, we just couldn’t agree on one) you’re good to go!
Of course I couldn’t forget about my babiest of babies! He’s pretty laid back when it comes to clothes for him. He was most excited about this OshKosh jacket – which will definitely come in handy for the cool spring nights that we’re sure to have (and have been having anyway) for the rest of the season. He also got several plaid shirts, and a pair of grey dress pants with a bowtie. I think I’m most excited about the bowtie. Oh, who am I kidding, I AM most excited about the bowtie!
Just so you know, I didn’t have to beg the ladybug to pose once. She was on from the moment we stepped outside to take photos. After I was done shooting, she marched right back into the house, changed into the newest outfit, and came back out ready to go. America’s Next Top Model has NOTHING on her! NOTHING I SAY! This is the dress that both the ladybug and Lil Miss have alike. Lil miss said that she loved the pink (it’s coral) detail around the neckline
Shopping inside the store was a treat! There was a table for children to play while their parents roamed the store. The day that I shopped, I lucked up on a major sale, and was able to build quite a large wardrobe for everyone. With available sizes from 0-12, there is something there for everyone. If your children want to walk the store with you, clothes arent so low that they’ll get lost in them, but they are at eye level so they can tell you with passion what they do and don’t want you to purchase. You’ll be able to have a great time in the store as I did, especially since I have a great coupon for 25% off any purchase of $30 (exclusions apply) to help round out that shopping experience! You can find your store, and shop today, in store or online, for those great Easter outfits, or to overhaul that spring wardrobe for your little ones. So much color, it’s bound to make everyone happy. I will also say that while we are lovers of pink and purple over here, it was nice to see it take a back seat in the items that the ladybug loved. I guess we’re rocking blue this spring and summer! To see all of the great items that are available, you can follow #ImagineSpring on Twitter and Facebook too.

The kids look great!!! I love everything, even the overalls! I want to get some for my girls. I love how their clothes look like they are for children, not little adults.

Too cute!! Your little lady is ready for her runway like NOW! The clothes are sooooo age appropriate and I love that. I love seeing little girls in clothing that is flattering and not too mature. I’ll be checking them out to send clothes to my goddaughters!

I live for the ladybug! Ha! She is made for styling OshKosh clothing. This coupon comes at a great time, since we are looking to fill in the gaps in the kids’ spring wardrobe. Great post!

OshKosh is such a great name for children’s clothing. It has been a trusted name since my childhood. You should talk to the OshKosh folks because your daughter in particular could sell those clothes to anyone because she is such a charmer. You have to get her a contract.
