Where is your favorite place to be?
I guess I’ll be cryptic and say, wherever I am at the moment. Honestly, with the last decade or so, I’m just grateful to be here.
I’m also happiest when that place allows my creative juices to flow freely. My little craft room, the library, JoAnn Fabrics (have you STILL not read my about me page yet?) Archivers, the thrift store, the kitchen – for baking and creating recipes, and even Target.
There’s something about creating for me. Taking different items and putting them together to make something fantastic – or maybe not so fantastic, but mine.
Creating characters in my head based on what an author writes is why I love the library. Which is also the reason I can understand why some people do honestly get disappointed in movie casting of a character – but not in that stupid sort of way that the crazies did with Rue and The Hunger Games – because you’ve already formed the person in your head. But that’s the beauty. Each of us can have our own something made out of the same ingredients, but it will be different. Molded just the way that fits our personalities and character.
Deep stuff, huh?
Oh, and my absolute favorite place to be is with the Houseful, no matter how crazy they are acting. Or if a foot is in my face.
