It’s Swimsuit Season! #OldNavyStyleCouncil

Uncategorized

No matter how hard we try to avoid it, summertime always comes, and we are given the task of finding ourselves a new swimming suit. After having the twizzlers, I found myself wanting to do something daring and possibly embarrassing and that included finding myself a bikini to wear. Of course, it would probably be when I was with Mr. Houseful, and also quite possibly in the dark, but I was going to wear one. Now, where to go? I figured Old Navy would be the best place since their line of clothing is starting to look a little bit more grown up, and while I didn’t find many two pieces that I liked, I did find a few. Either way, I can always pick a pretty cool two piece as well. Now, the task is to choose which one:

Stripes seem to be the types of bathing suits that I am attracted to. I’m not sure if I’m liking the high cut bottom, but these are the times. Mr. Houseful seems to like it as he took SEVERAL shots of this particular suit and asked me if this was the one that I was going to end up buying. I did like it (I will spare you the task of seeing me actually in it) but I won’t know for sure until I complete my “bikini body.”

Another one that I liked was this little orange number that I took off of the shelves. My serious face even gives you all the impression that I am TOTALLY sure that this might actually work for me. Or maybe that’s just a bit of pain at knowing that I have to choose one of these babies to wear and bear a little bit more of Mrs. Houseful than I am used to. S/N – don’t those bottoms look HUGE?! I swear they were all the same size, and these just looked giant. Score one for the hot mama!

I didn’t decide on a suit this time around, but I’m sure given the opportunity and a weekend, I could make a great decision. So which one do you like the most?

That was the one that Mr. Houseful liked. I’m wondering if blue and green are my “new” colors. 🙂 Thanks for coming through!
