So often we all take photos with our phones and the pictures kind of stay there. We may share on Facebook, or Instagram, or even Twitter, but that’s about it. They sit in those metal and plastic instruments and no one but use really gets to enjoy them. Well, today, you all get to enjoy some of the images that I have been flipping back and forth looking at for the past couple of days.
Let’s start with this little one. She’s SO in love with church, almost, actually probably MORE than I am. I hate to say it that way, but being in the house of God really does something for her. It’s so refreshing to see a little one really just have joy in being in a place of worship. No thoughts about people being hypocritical, or looking at her. Just going forth in praise. It doesn’t hurt that she’s cute too.
Have you ever really been around twins? They are funny. No, seriously. They are hilarious. Mostly because things like this happen. You ask for them to take a photo and ONE of them always has to act as if it is taking every fiber of their being to really get into the photo.
Here too. It’s slightly interesting. Almost like a study in sociology, or psychology. Take your pick.
Then you attempt to get a photo of all three together in your very horribly lit kitchen, with way too many things in the background. I can’t believe that the ONLY person who is smiling for the camera is normally the one that is a blur. By the way, that dress that the ladybug is wearing is the dress that I sewed last year for Easter.
Tigger makes me happy. I have a collection of Tigger mugs that I started when I was in college. It was a way for me to buy a little something for myself each month when I got paid. It wasn’t a bunch of money, but it was enough to make me smile. This one should be coming home with me soon! It’s also helping me show my #DisneySide in anticipation for a party that I am having next month!
Comfortable jeans. These are a pair of Lee Jeans that I ran errands in last week. I was pretty impressed that they fit comfortably over my snow boots and didn’t make me look all weird either. I get so many compliments from these jeans, and they are so sturdy too! I’m not sure the style is available anymore, but if they are, I’ll link.
My city is awesome. It has its faults, but overall, I love it. I love walking downtown and enjoying all of the sights and sounds of the city. The hustle and bustle of people going to and from work and getting on and off trains and busses. There’s something that keeps me in the city. I know that so many people long for the suburbs when they get married and have children, but my city runs through my veins and it shows every time I hang out downtown.
It’s Tigger. He loves me. Don’t argue. Also, it was cold, and being in a cute hat at the moment was trumped by being warm. One day, I’ll find a hat that is warm, protective of my curls, AND cute. They have to exist.
The emblazoning of brands across Chicago landmarks. I’m slightly sad to see so many of our city buildings being renamed, or at least becoming billboards. It’s still Sears Tower, Comiskey Park, and The Chicago Stadium. I’m old. Who cares.
So, would you share your photos from your phone? What would they say about the week that you’ve had? I want to see!
