Big Cats and Showing Kindness with Toms Shoes

Big cats are a big deal around this house. If you’ve been a long time reader, you’ll know that ever since we’ve started homeschooling, the ladybug has always had a soft spot for lions, tigers and bears. No joke, and yes, I always say Oh, my! whenever she would talk about them in that specific order. We have a membership to Brookfield Zoo and whenever we go, we always have to stop and check out the lion exhibit because she is so enthralled with them. Well, we got to add Jaguar to the mix with our mask from National Geographic, and shoes from the Toms Big Cat Collection.

It came as no surprise that she squealed the loudest when I opened up a package that I received from Toms in partnership with National Geographic kids. In it were a pair of big cat print Toms, a wonderful big cat mask, and a gentler reminder for us to be kind to everyone on earth. Something that we need to remember much more these days, I’m afraid.

 

Unfortunately, Big Cat week on National Geographic was last month, so I am late in informing you of that, BUT never fear, because you can always celebrate the awesomeness of Big Cats any day of the year, and you can enter to win your choice of the Kids (6-12) or Little Kids (3-6) National Geographic Magazine Subscription for your little one to flip through on these days that just beg for a little bit more cuddling. 

My shoes are pretty epic too. I got a chance to wear them out during the birthday party of the Twizzlers, and I’m surprised at how comfortable I was throughout the day. I can’t wait to do an outfit of the day post (yes I still do those) and showcase them full-fledged. I’m still trying to figure out what to pair them with, and now I think that I may have to buy my son a pair from the Big Cats Collection.
