One thing that I am passionate about is helping our schools earn money that they need in order to provide better education for our children. Not only is it a way for parents who may not be able to volunteer as often as they want, to participate in the betterment of their children’s schools, but it’s also a way for them to do it while purchasing things that they need!
All For Schools does exactly that. The site allows parents to turn their everyday activities into funds for their children’s school by purchasing Groupon deals, downloading coupons and coupon codes and shopping with sites like Amazon. Every time you take one of these actions, money will automatically be donated to the school of your choice. The joy of this online forum is that ANYONE can participate, and it’s super easy to do so. Especially with the purchase of Groupons. Who doesn’t love a good deal?
I’m all about using easy forms of fundraising to help push fundraising goals that schools have in place to support the furthering of education for students. I especially love seeing funds being used to go on those field trips, and purchase supplies that may not be in the budget normally.
For my particular quest I decided to purchase something for Mr. Houseful and I to enjoy, since we rarely get out without the children these days. We’re going to head to my old stomping grounds in Lincoln Park to Robinson’s Ribs and have a rib feast for two. Yumtasticness.
Just in case you need more persuasion for the All For You program
The great thing about All For Schools is that it can be done from the comfort of your home (so no getting dressed and presentable EVERY time you want to do a bit of fundraising!) You can purchase items that you will actually use (none of those catalog gifts or super expensive cheesecakes!) You can also shop year round and make a difference. Any parent can help raise funds, and they can also enlist the help of their family and friends without being salespeople.
So, let’s recap. Can your child’s school use extra funds? Would you like an easier way to fundraise? Could you TOTALLY use a night out on the town, a great meal, or maybe even a chance to see that production that you’ve been eyeing? Well, with Groupon and All For Schools, you can have it all, and everyone can be happy.
I urge you to check it out, and get registered. Schools are being added consistently, and we would like to make sure that everyone can earn every penny that they can get their hands on.
