This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.
It’s that time again! It’s back to school season AND the start of reminders for Box Tops for Education collection from your neighborhood “crazy Box Tops Lady!” Now, they’ve gone and given us coordinators an app to use! The Box Tops Bonus App, helps us collect even MORE money and do it instantly! With the Buy 5 , Earn $5 in Box Tops at Walmart promotion they have going on, NOW is the time to shop! Think of it as “extra credit” for doing a great job of clipping Box Tops!
I’ve been collecting and running Box Tops for Education programs since Nathaniel was a wee lad, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. I STILL have friends from all over sending me Box Tops on a monthly basis. They believe in it as much as I do, and there is nothing crazy about collecting a dime for each coupon that you submit! Now, I can even have them earn for us remotely through the Box Tops Bonus App! Collecting is a very passive way for ALL parents to be involved in fundraising without having to go to each and every one of your friends with a booklet, or chocolate to sell. You can still make it a family and friend affair though! Like I stated above, I have family and friends from all over sending Box Tops for Education to my home every month.
On our weekly trip to Walmart, Mr. Houseful and I picked up things that we already purchase on the regular, and I was SO happy to see bonus Box Tops for Education on the backs of them! We always use Ziploc bags, and with school starting up in the next month, it only seemed right that I snagged the sandwich bags for our lunches. They come in handy for storing errant crayons and small supplies too. We find so many things to store in them, and our epic road trips make for the best places to use them. When we aren’t using them to store school supplies, throwing a couple of Mott’s Fruit Snacks into the bags often leads to a wonderful surprise later in the day!
Back to school also means back to proper cleaning routines, and with my purchase of the 3-pack of Lysol Wipes, I’m that closer to a semi-clean home and my $5 bonus! These are my favorites to use for quick cleanups in the kitchen on counters, and in the bathroom for sinks and toilet wipe downs. Having little ones to clean behind themselves teaches so much responsibility, and it allows me to not go berserk at the thought of cleaning up after 6 people!
But let’s face it, back to school means after school snacks, and ain’t nobody in this house taking time to cook from scratch ALL day. I’d rather save that for dinner. That’s where quick bite snacks like Totino’s Pizza Rolls enters the pictures. My kids are able to take the pre-approved (by me) amount out and microwave them to stave off hunger pangs until dinner time. Speaking of dinner, sometimes you don’t have time to make your entire meal from scratch either. It happens. Old El Paso has dinner kits to help you through those days too.
Last, but certainly not least, Box Tops for Education also wants to give SOMETHING back for those of you stocking up on tissue and paper towels for classes. Don’t we all know the struggle of cleaning up our children’s noses and messes at home? It’s no wonder why teachers request boxes of tissue, and rolls of paper towels from every student. Well, this month, earn bonus box tops for buying Kleenex, and Viva Vantage paper towels.
With everything that I’ve listed, you would have earned almost $10 in Box Tops for Education – with the extra Box Tops on the backs of these specially marked products and the $5 bonus from the Box Tops Bonus App.
Now, where are you going to store those clipped Box Tops? There’s always a Ziploc Bag on the refrigerator, but why not make a GREAT collection bin for your home?
Supplies Needed:
Kleenex Box
Wrapping paper or duct tape,
Scissors.
Instructions
Remove perforated tab and tissue from the Kleenex box.
Wrap entire box with decorated duct tape (the pink tape used above) without cover the open hole in the top of the box.
Decorate as preferred – I included chalkboard tape so that I could write on the front.
COLLECT AWAY!
How easy is that?! Until then, collect on, and get ready for that November 1st submission deadline!

I have never been a box tops mom. Likely because I try not to eat too much out of boxes, but also, I just don’t wanna. But with this here app, I might contribute this year (don’t judge me).
