It’s been a while since I have shared a Macy’s post with you all. I know you’ve missed it! This time, I got to walk into the greatness of the store for Hispanic Fashion Week which was being hosted by Project Runway Alum, Nick Verreos
As you can see from the photo below, he was enamored by my celebrity, and just HAD to give me a hug. You know, we Nicholes’ are a famous bunch here in Chicago. Okay, maybe a little of that statement was embellished, but let’s not split hairs here. The important thing is, we were in the same room.
There were also macarons, and churros with strawberry sauce. Lots of them. And I was not embarrassed by how many I ate. The models regaled us in outfits that I could actually see a normal woman wearing. I was very pleased with that aspect. We also learned, that this fall, the BIG color is ARUBA PINK. Get with the times ladies and gents. It’s going to be Pinkalicious for really.
We even got a video on how to walk the catwalk from Nick (it’s sideways, I apologize)
Here are a couple of photos from the events of the night. I apologize in advance for not being tall enough or able enough in my photo setting skills to get around the heads of the folk in front of me. You’ve been warned.
I think that I could do all of them, and with the right spanx and foundations, might even be able to pull of the jumpsuit. Watch me work.
So, what have we learned. ARUBA PINK, Nick Verreos is a fan of Mrs. Houseful, and Macy’s has awesome fashions.
I am a part of Everywhere Societ, and was asked to attend this fashion show in exchange for my thoughts, and craziness. Well, the craziness was free. 🙂
