I’ll interrupt my homage to all things black history and let you know that I am officially taking the step to become a mompreneur. Yeah, I love how in the bloggy world you can totally make up words and ignore the squiggly red line underneath them.
As you can see, for the last couple of months or so, I have been posting pictures of sewing projects that I have completed. Some of them are just for personal use – because some people took great time and care to draft them and share them for free, so those won’t be sold, but things like this:
will.
If you’re scratching your head in confusion, that’s okay. Because my photography game is going to vastly improve as well! 🙂 That my dears is a crib skirt. And it took me a bit of time to make it, but I am SO pleased with the outcome and with the pleats and the ties!
I’m still working on getting images onto my etsy shop, AND creating a new name for my custom sewing shop.
Currently there is a contest going on my Facebook Page and the winner gets a full apron! Hop on over and enter the contest to name my new shop. You never know if you’ll win!
