Getting Dressy With Old Navy

Old Navy is really getting me to like them a lot more lately. Especially their dresses. Since I’m a part of the Old Navy Style Council through Crowdtap, I get to host awesome get togethers at my local Old Navy stores and give away free stuff. Not a bad gig to have.

This particular party was fully focused on dresses. I’ll be the first to admit that after I browsed online, I fully expected the sweater dresses to fit me and my great personality (you agree) well. They did not. It was too bulky for my small frame and further proved that I don’t always know what I’m talking about when it comes to clothing.

I did however step out of my comfort zone and try some jersey flare dresses (a-line dresses always work well for me)

and I also picked up an extra dress (in blue though) because I liked it so much and couldn’t decide between the two.

There was one more dress that I LOVED but they didn’t have in my size:

My sister in law also tagged along with me, and modeled some of the looks as only she can.

I’m starting to realize that Old Navy will be one of the first stops that I make when it comes to clothing that fits me comfortably, and usually runs well priced enough to not make Mr. Houseful’s eyes pop out of his head.

Now, I just have to go back and get the kiddies something (although there may just be some items from them already, ready to go under the Christmas tree.)
