Celebrate Mom and Support Macy’s Heart of Haiti

Celebrations

Macys-Heart-Of-Haiti

With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, it’s hard to figure out just what to get that special lady in your life. Whether it’s your own mom, the mother of your children, or your grandmother, aunt, etc., it’s hard to figure out just what gift will resonate deep in their hearts. Why not buy them something that will definitely be appreciated AND help other moms and women rebuild their lives simultaneously? By purchasing through Macy’s Heart of Haiti you can do just that.

With your purchase of any Heart of Haiti product, you can help support displaced mother’s living in Haiti and working to provide a nurturing environment for their family. Products from the Heart of Haiti product line create a sustainable living for the artisans affected by the earthquake of 2010.

You also can have your purchase matched by Everywhere Society (the awesome company that makes sure I’m in the know about all things Macy’s) by either sending a copy of your receipt digitally to Lexi@EverywhereAgency.com or sending it via snail mail to Everywhere, 154 Krog Street Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30307 . Doing this will match your donation to OFEDA until June 1st of this year!

As someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, I feel that I would do the same thing to make sure that my family was cared for during a time of need. Heck, I do it now, and I haven’t been hit by an earthquake ever. There is something to be said about the human characteristic of perseverance, and the willingness to still do something that you love and are talented at in the midst of trials.

I have several items from the Heart of Haiti line, and I love them all. I’m currently using a set of gorgeous blue leaf trays, and a metal jewelry holder and love the uniqueness of them.

Remember: Mother’s Day is THIS SUNDAY May, 11. Get your great gifts from the Macy’s Heart of Haiti collection which supports the women of OFEDA. Matching donations up to $1000 will be made on purchases made up to June 1st.

I am a member of the Everywhere Society and Everywhere has provided me with product from the Macy’s Heart of Haiti collection as compensation for this post about OFEDA. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed herein are my own.
