I wanted to do a post on the actual first day of the year, but I instead decided to get some much needed rest. Please forgive me!
We at the Houseful of Nicholes hope that you have a year that is blessed beyond recognition. Whether it’s financial, physical, or just learning to appreciate YOU more – I hope that you spend more time smiling and loving life.
Overall, we’re still getting used to the twizzlers around these parts. They are switching their sleeping habits around on us an Papa Nicholes and I are literally at their beck and call. They used to stay up all night long, and over the last two days they have been shifting to sleep more during the night and be up more during the day. I’m exhausted and so is Mr. Nicholes. I’m also becoming a bit apprehensive because he starts work this week and I’ll be alone most of the time with the ladybug and the twizzlers and the Cellist once he gets off of school. The good thing is my mother is close to me, so I can honestly call her if I need help. Thank the LORD!
So, did anyone make any resolutions for the new year? Did you keep from making any? Did you just vow to get better in some areas of your life? Share them with us!
Natasha, I know you've definitely got this. And it helps that you have such a supportive backing from your mom.
I wouldn't say I made resolutions. I did make some promises to myself this year and wrote them down. My issue is lack of 1) consistency and 2) accountability. I'm getting better at not procrastinating in terms of timeframe for a goal, but I've still got a loooong way to go. 🙂
Happy New Year Nicholes! It was grand taking the ride of your lives in 2010 & I can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for you!
I don't make resolutions any more, I find that I don't keep them. I do have a couple goals that I would like to continue 1) loosing weight, 2) reducing debt, & 3) embracing ME.
