I’m pretty strict with my skincare regimen. I may not be a fashion blogger, but I know how to keep my skin looking bright and moisturized on a regular basis. It’s one of the reasons folks continue to question my age by my face alone. My voice and mannerisms always give me away, c’est la vie.
Anyway, we’re here today to talk about The Body Shop’s Vitamin C range which is my first foray into the company’s facial line – I’ve been a fan of their body care for more than 2 decades since my aunt was a The Body Shop at Home independent consultant. She got me addicted to the body butter and the FIRST iteration I used of Spa of the World African Ximena Scrub (shout out to the Spa Wisdom line) so I’m well versed in the high quality of the product.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Overnight Glow Revealing Mask
This range does let you know it’s working as SOON as you apply it to your skin. After cleaning and toning my skin I used the Vitamin C Serum to help boost hydration and combat dullness in my skin. I did and continue to experience a slight tingle of the skin after application, but there have been no other issues. After my serum is applied, I continue with the rest of my regimen with eye cream, spot corrector, and moisturizer.
My night routine is almost the same except I use the Vitamin C Overnight Glow Revealing Mask as my moisturizer and wake up to skin that is noticeably brighter and hydrated. I love the fact that it works so well with what I’m already using.
The photo below shows off my glowing skin as I’m enjoying a Potato Tornado from the Illinois State Fair earlier this month. Can’t beat the smooth, hydrated skin! Obviously, this is in conjunction with drinking plenty of water too!
