Old Navy Style Council: Active by Old Navy Review

Product Review

I am a member of the Old Navy Style Council for Crowdtap. I was offered two coupons to test out their activewear. All opinions are my own.

Old Navy Style Council Active WearHow cute am I?! (c) Samantha from The Peanuts Gang. Seriously, I think that Old Navy will forever be one of my favorite places to shop. Every time I go in there, I am always walking past their active wear and incredulously eyeing it. Basically willing it to call me over so that I can look cute while longing to work out like I should. Now I have no excuse. Functionality and fashion totally mesh in their Active by Old Navy line.

Once again, I took my good friend Kareeta with me and we had a blast picking out items from display. We both have children now and it’s one of our goals to stay healthy for them, but mostly for ourselves. Did I mention that we both like looking cute, too?

Here we are below modeling the yoga capris and the GoDry running tanks that wick away the moisture that comes from intense workouts. Above I have on the compression pants (capri length) and the Mesh Top.

Old Navy Active WearHere is Kareeta modeling next to one of the mannequins sporting the running shorts ( a little too short for my liking, but the fabric was fantabulous)
Active Wear Old Navy Style Council We had a lot of fun posing and got quite the conversation from one of the associates who was helping us go through our items. She complimented us on the colors we picked and even the bright shoes that we paired with the looks. Old Navy Active Wear As you can see, I ended up with not only the top and bottom that I was compensated with, but I added shoes and socks to complete the look. I’m not a hardcore runner, but Mr. Houseful and I do have a MAJOR get healthy bet that entails the earning of two new Nikon camera lenses for me. I CAN NOT LOSE! In being healthy, I like the fact that I can also be cute, and not feel self-conscious about showing more skin than I am comfortable with. My stomach is OUT OF COMMISSION since having the twins and it’s my desire to regain some of the firmness of it. I figure that I will forever have some sort of pouch because of life, but I’m not going to be toting around an extra ten pounds of belly fat if I can help it. And how can I NOT get moving when I look this fabulous? Right. I can’t. Old Navy Active Wear Style CouncilHave any of you tried Active by Old Navy? If you haven’t, I highly recommend it for the comfort factor alone. The cute bright colors don’t hurt either.

They are indeed affordable, and if you sign up for Old Navy’s emails, I’m sure that you’ll be able to use a coupon on something (hint, hint)

Super comfortable, and several different lengths and styles for you to choose from. The yoga pants were too loose for me, and the shorts were too short, but I LOVE the outfit that I got! Love it, love it!
