Preparing For Winter with Ross Dress For Less

Winter is coming. 

In Chicago, that can be any time from October through May apparently, and while most people hate the season, I embrace it full force. I love snow, and I love the SILENCE that wintertime brings. I swear, I'm not a curmudgeon. I think that I like the fact that winter kind of forces families to be together and commune with each other. However, there are times where I do need to venture outside of my home, and can't do it in my Navy sweats, I'd like to be cute. Lately, coats have been catching my eye, and while I'm really close to making my own, I haven't quite gotten there yet. That's where Ross Dress for Less comes in. 

I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't purchased a coat for myself since the winter of 2008. Let that sink in. My mom usually buys my coats (yes, she does, and she must never stop,) so I don't have to worry about things like that. Except, now, I'm getting an inkling for wanting to have coats for different events. 

I've become one of those people. I want different coats, in different colors, and different lengths. I want them all! Ross has them all too. I think that I'll only probably buy one more jacket though. The one that I am wearing is a Calvin Klein waist length car coat. I love the toggles and the fact that I can be all mysterious in my hood. Best thing ever? It fits me. I'm a fun-sized 5'1" and this coat doesn't cover my fingertips. If you don't have that problem, I don't want to know, possibly because I don't like you. 

So what does this have to do with anything? So far, from the Randolph Street grand opening, I've purchased Cuisinart knives, a Wolfgang Puck Dutch Oven, an awesome dress, candle holders,  and a clock. Very random, but all very Natasha. I'm sure they will make an appearance on the blog at some point this month, and you'll love them all. You WILL I say.

I can pretty much say with confidence that you can find it at one of the Ross stores across the nation. If it's not there this week, go back next week (that's how I got my dutch oven - for $35 bucks by the way - CAST IRON!) and you may find it.
