Hey Chicagoans! This Saturday, August 19th, Kmart and Nickelodeon will be hosting a back to school extravaganza at Kmart on Addison! We'll be in the house of course, on set giving you great back to school tips for all of your children! Thanks to Kmart and Nickelodeon for sponsoring this conversation on Houseful Of Nicholes!

We know that the back to school season can be a bit chaotic for parents all around the country, and Kmart wants to be your one stop shop for all things necessary! From notebooks to pencils, to backpacks and clothes. Even parents need to get THEIR wardrobes and supplies for the back to school season. I'm looking to get myself a couple of sweaters for those last minute school pickups of the SENIOR that I will have come September. That way, I can look pulled together enough not to embarrass him.
After the event on Saturday, look for my blog post to see what I got and to enter to win a $50 Kmart gift card! You'll need it when you're picking up back to school items for YOURSELF and your home! I know that back to school is always the time when I feel the need to tidy up my wardrobe (it's almost FALL) and my home a bit more than I did for the summer season!
For those of you that don't know, the Kmart on Addison is RIGHT off of the Kennedy expressway's Addison stop to the East, and you won't miss the entire store. Nickelodeon will have activities for your little ones to do, and they will be giving away goodies all day long! You won't want to miss it, and the weather looks like it will be perfect!
To add the proverbial cherry on top, there will be special appearances from Shimmer and Shine, and Dora the Explorer!
