Zootopia Looks Sure to Provide A Wild Time

Entertainment

We get excited about movie premieres around here quite often. It’s a REAL treat when we actually make it out to the premiere as well. Mr. Houseful and I have made it to each opening weekend of the X-Men series and even the entire Hunger Games series, and now the kids are all about Disney opening weekends. They will always exclaim which movie they want to go and see, and who gets to pick where we go, and how much popcorn they’ll get to eat. I’m sure the same thing will happen with Zootopia, and I’m really excited to see what it’s holding.

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.

I’m sure that Mr. Houseful will love hearing that one of his favorite actors is voicing the fast talking fox, and shenanigans are sure to abound. I’m sure that I will love how the little bunny that doesn’t seem to fit in with all of the big police officers, will make her presence known. Kind of like my kids and I have had to do all of our really tiny lives. It’s okay, I can tell you right now, I turned out just fine.

Zootopia opens in theaters on March 4, 2016 and is sure to be a hit with your crew.
