This year is requiring a LOT of good news in order to stay afloat, and Disney is definitely doing its part. We’re fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise over this way, and the way that Johnny Depp transforms into Captain Jack Sparrow is something to behold! If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s an extended look of the movie that premiered during that game with a MASSIVE UPSET this past weekend. Did you see that game? If you’re a fan of the team that lost, hopefully this spot will lift your spirits a bit. If you’re a fan of the team that won, then this may just be the cherry on top.

As if that isn’t enough, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 released an extended spot for the game as well with BABY GROOT! Chris Pratt is hilarious, and I look forward to seeing the team together again with new folks in tow. We just need feel good movies, and I’m looking forward to May (and other months of course with Disney) so that we can forget our troubles and get lost in the theater.
As an aside, I’ve never made a mix tape, and Mr. Houseful has never given me one. Do you think it’s too late? I say no. I mean, overalls with one strap hanging down are making a comeback, so anything is possible.
