By the date, it’s summer in the city, but by the temperature it feels like fall. Either way, it’s the perfect time for grilling.
Last night, Mr. Houseful and I decided to do something that we had never done before, and that is, grill pizza. We had some flukes, but overall, it came out pretty well. Pillsbury provided us with supplies to make the perfect pizza!
To start, I got Pillsbury pizza crust (and remember to cut those Box Tops for Education off) and gathered some of my favorite toppings: mushrooms, pancetta, prosciutto, and pepperoni and fired up the grill!
We followed the instructions available for grilling the crust (you have to do that first) and proceeded to finish out our cooking on the grill.
I was going to get all fancy schmancy and let the kids create their own mini-pizzas, but re-entry from BlogHer ’13 had me rethinking that one. So we ended up with an Italian type, meat lovers pizza that made everyone happy.
BTW, if you do not have a pizza cutter, you’re missing out. It’s one of the many things that bring me joy in my kitchen. But watch your fingers, I hear they’re sharp.
So, I have one of these to give away:
Don’t you want one?! Despite the cooler weather here in Chicago, it’s still grill time! Just enter through the Rafflecopter, and you’re set!

Hi Mea!
Another suggestion that I have seen around is to grill it on the aluminum foil, that way, it won't crisp up so fast, unless of course you like REALLY crispy crust. :) Thanks for stopping by!
