Scents of the Season – Glade Wax Melt Warmer #smellsclean

Scents of the Season – Glade Wax Melt Warmer #smellsclean

Guess what happened two days ago? We got a CLOSING DATE! You read it right. The Nicholes family will be moving – FINALLY. I love that we’ll be in our house just in time to celebrate our first Christmas. There may even be a real Christmas tree in the mix (read about that next month.)

Now is the time where I start thinking decor and scents. I know that I may not be able to do too many with a pine tree right on the first floor – I said first floor y’all, I have a first floor! – but I will be able to hit some spots on our second floor and in our unfinished basement so that company will feel like they are surrounded by the greatest scents of the season.

This summer, a group of volunteers stopped by a little while after my birthday, and before the birthday of the ladybug. We’re September babies so we rock. The group of individuals gave me a housewarming gift that will literally warm my house with great smells of the upcoming holiday season. I was given a Glade wax melt warmer, in a lovely Sapphire blue and it may have persuaded my current first floor color scheme of cool greys and blues. Glade Wax Melt Warmer

I test drove this with a couple of the wax melts that I received during November (pumpkin spice – one of my favorites) in my sewing space, and I loved how it filled my room with the scent of fall baking. Now, I have pine scented wax melts waiting to fill our new house for the month of December.

Being able to make a quick jaunt to Walmart (which is now, right up the street either way in my new neighborhood – YAY) and go through their scent aisle makes it that much easier to load up on the scents of the season every month. Now that we know that there is a distinctive scent for each season – at least for me it is – I know that being able to capture it anytime I want to will be super easy and affordable.

I love that warmer! I have one in my office at work that I keep chai spice wax in. It's such a great spicy fall winter smell and it even occasionally keeps me from falling asleep at my desk.
