We’re Still Contracting

I’m still contracting. Straight, no chaser. That’s how I roll.

I’ve been hesitant to post about the status of my pregnancy because, well frankly, because I’m tired of all of the questions. I know that people genuinely care about my well being, and they are really excited to hear about the arrival of the twizzlers, but I want to just crawl under a blanket and not update anymore, answer any phone calls, text messages, e-mails, etc.

So, yeah, I’m still pregnant. But I do appreciate all of the good thoughts and prayers that are coming our way. I promise I do!

Wow contractions STILL? Hat's off to you. I KNOW I couldn't do it. I'm a big baby.

Little miss is still being stubborn? Sorry about that. Hopefully she'll get it in gear soon and stop messing with her mommy.

Tell me about it! My mom called Monday night because my grandma wanted to know if I was in labor before she went to bed. GRRR! We were walking into a restaurant so I said I would call back. When I did I told my mom "I am in labor when I go to the hospital. STOP telling people I am in labor because I had a few contractions!"

@Rachelle – yep, still. The only reason that I haven't gone to the hospital is because they are not changing in intensity. They are like the first portion of labor type contractions. And if I go in, I don't want to be forced to be tied down to machines – since I have twins.

@Rae – yes she is still being stubborn. I guess this just lets me know that she is going to be a strong woman when she gets here!

@Sarah – my parents are pretty good with it. I think that I just feel a little bit confused as to NOT knowing what is going on. This is the very first time that something like this has happened in any of my pregnancies and it's just pretty ummmm, interesting to say the least. I might end up not answering the phone anymore though. LOL!
