The Teal Pumpkin Project™

Leave it to social media to always provide opportunities for education. Last year around this time, I saw information about the The Teal Pumpkin Project™  floating around, and learned that this initiative provided a visual sign that the house displaying a teal pumpkin was safe for those trick or treaters with food allergies or children where candy is not a viable option. These houses provided non-food items for trick or treaters and made sure to make them feel part of this great holiday celebration.
