I am so grateful for my Mr. Houseful. I know that some may see this sentiment and roll their eyes in disgust or just irritation because, ONCE AGAIN – Natasha is talking about her husband like he is the light of her life.
*big cheesy grin*
Well folks, that’s because he in fact IS. Now that doesn’t mean that we always see eye to eye on everything, or that we are always over the moon every second of the day. It DOES mean, that I appreciate every minute of every day that he is here with me and showing his love and affection and commitment to his family.
One thing that I have noticed amongst a lot of my mommy friends is that they complain at how much their husbands DON’T do to help them out with their children. I have to admit that I don’t have that problem. Honestly. Our biggest argument over the kids is him not coming out with me WITH the children, but volunteering to keep them while I go out and enjoy myself. *insert pouting stance here* I mean, who DOES that?!
The answer would be my husband.
He fills in where needed and also recognizes when I as a wife and mother just need a break. He changes diapers, cooks dinner, kisses hurts, helps with homework, cleans the house and does the LAUNDRY (I don’t think that I have *had* to do laundry since we have been married) without having to be pestered. I honestly have no complaints. None.
He loves me in all my bossy glory. And yes, I’m bossy. It’s hard to admit sometimes, but it is what it is. Hee hee. Instead of trying to change me, he just works around me. That’s love. And I’m deep in it. >dreamy sigh<
