Hey there ladies and gents! We have once again made it to the beginning of the week, and it’s time to share my blog picks for the week. While I will not beat into the ground my love of ALL things, not just mommy blogs, or African American blogs, or travel blogs, or food blogs, or hair blogs, I will have to say that I have been pulled towards food blogs lately. Here are a couple that I think are worth your while to look at, along with a couple of my favorite mommy blogs. Show them some love while you are there and let them know that the Nicholes family sent you!
Yakini is a breath of fresh air because she basically keeps it 100% at all times. She shares her opinions and frustrations of motherhood and lets us all know that is okay to have an opinion that may not necessarily be the most popular one. She also shows us the fun side of parenting and how much you really can do as a mom and wife. Check her out!
2. The Food Stamp
I really like this blog because of the simplicity of the things that the author does. She goes out and reviews foods and gives it either a stamp of approval or not. Easy peasy right? Plus she gives proof in pictures of what she is doing. Right now I have my eye on some Brazillian Fish Stew that she just posted the recipe for. Being that I am always busy and this seems like it won’t take longer than 30 minutes to whip up, I’m all for it! Go and show her some love today!
My friend AJ is enjoying culinary adventures around the world, and blogging about them! Her latest recipe was Coq Au Vin or chicken with wine, and it looks delish! I’m excited to try some of her recipes that she has found in the near future!
Have fun checking out new blogs and even commenting. Remember bloggers LOVE comments – it lets them know that they aren’t talking to themselves.

My pleasure! I will have to do it once I'm over the delivery hump. My belly won't allow me to really sidle up to the stove top anymore! LOL!
