A Crafting We Will Go

I’m still on my sewing kick. I’m still anticipating the opening of my Etsy Shop soon (sigh) and I’m still loving the act of sewing. One of these days, I’m going to do a round up of all of the sewing blogs that I have frequented in one post. However, a couple of my favorites at the moment are

Shwin & Shwin

Craftiness Is Not Optional

Simple Simon &Co.

Project Run & Play

I love them mostly because they are awesome spots for getting ideas for my three smallest children and sewing them. Now, I just need a spot to park at for the cellist, and I’ll be cooking with gas!

Here are a couple of the projects that I’ve tackled in the last couple of weeks:

Audrey Cape featured on Simple Simon & Co.

Swing Jacket Pattern soon to be on sale at Shwin & Shwin

As you can see, the ladybug is basically racking up. It’s easier for me to sew for her, because she actually likes trying the clothes on and modeling for me. I’m learning a lot, but my desire is to figure out how to draft my own clothes soon. Keep your fingers crossed!

She’s being subdued by yards of fabric, elastic and thread. Plus she’s hiding from the children……

Friend-like? I think that you may be suffering from something. That needs to be changed to FRIEND-ish! Thank you very much! And I appreciate ya!
