SIX Show Sizzles When You #ExploreBranson

SIX-Show

I know that I started off with my recap of my #ExploreBranson tour with these guys from The SIX Show on Monday, but I do believe that they still deserve their own post. Their show was just that entertaining for me. I know that by living in Chicago, I’m pretty lucky to have some of the best entertainment available to me year round. That’s not the point. This group of brothers makes up and even larger group of family. There are six brothers that perform, with another four that help behind the scenes. Talk about family involvement.

The show started out well, and even had the men from the SIX Show doing the sound effects for their intro. Their harmony and ability to sound like so many instruments is amazing.

This night I was able to do something that I haven’t done in a long time. I put down the camera and enjoyed myself. Literally clapped and sang along with the songs that were being performed. They paid homage to the 60s, 70s, and 80s and we all had a GREAT time laughing, humming, and tapping our feet to the beat. I was so amazed at the vast amount of music that they had to memorize and perfect for this show. Knowing full well that this was only a small amount in the arsenal that they must have.

Their brand carries throughout the show with them always wearing a color specific to each brother, and they even drive Camaros with the same colored racing stripe down the middle. One brother even has a KITT-esque moving light on the front grill. All car enthusiasts will get a kick out of it.

MY favorite part of the show happened to be when they asked for audience volunteers and I was picked! There was a rendition of Macho Man by the Village People, and I, along with three other audience members, was picked to come on stage and dance along with them. It was so much fun! I’m all for volunteering myself as long as it doesn’t look dangerous, or too embarrassing. Good thing the SIX Show is family friendly, so no horrible put downs.

If you’re thinking that you won’t be able to fit them into your schedule because they won’t be playing often, you’d be wrong. The Six Show plays every day except for Sunday, and you can find their schedule online HEREThe show is appropriate for all ages and has no questionable content. They even sing a song by the Beibs, and it’s enjoyable!

Given that Mr. Houseful and I visited Branson five years ago and didn’t get to do much, shows like this are really sealing the deal to us returning, and the SIX Show will definitely be on the itinerary.
