Get Your Engine Revved at Milwaukee IndyFest! #visitmke

I’m almost too excited to breathe! Almost as excited as Oprah Winfrey was when she gave away all of those Pontiac G6s on her talk show almost a decade ago (it was a DECADE!) Anyhoo, I’m giving away a fantastic opportunity to a reader and a guest to attend a VIP trip to Milwaukee Wisconsin and the IndyFest THIS WEEKEND! So, before entering please make sure you are able to attend!

What Is The IndyFest?

The Milwaukee IndyFest brings the Verizon IndyCar Series, Indy Lights and Pro Mazda Championship to the Milwaukee Mile for another year of fast cars, great music and family fun from Thursday through Sunday, August 14-17. Visit the longest continually operating speedway in the world, the Milwaukee Mile, for an unforgettable time.

Off-site activities begin Thursday, August 14, with a Bartender Challenge at the Hilton Milwaukee Downtown and the Harley IndyFest Bike Night at the Harley-Davidson Museum, where an IndyFest show car will be on display. On Friday night, the Milwaukee IndyFest Street Party will take place the Hilton Milwaukee Downtown, hosted by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, complete with live music, food vendors and local entertainment for everyone to enjoy! There will also be autograph sessions with the drivers and vintage cars on display.

At the Milwaukee Mile on Friday and Saturday, IndyFest has everything a racing fan would love and more! Cool off and relax at the Coors Light Music & Beer Garden in the Verizon Indycar Fan Village, where each day there will be live music beginning at 10 a.m. On Saturday, fans can also participate in the Milwaukee IndyFest Pit Stop Challenge to test out their pit crew skills against friends for some friendly competition. Later in the evening, you can see the pros duke it out for a chance to win the 2014 Milwaukee IndyFest Pit Stop Challenge Champion title.

The Family Fun Zone has activities for children of all ages throughout the festival, including the iconic Milwaukee IndyFest Ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, bumper cars as well as raised viewing platforms to watch all of the race action. All carnival rides are free with general admission purchase.

Fans can also take part in interactive IndyCar and product displays and live Q&A’s with the drivers at the Verizon IndyCar Fan Village. You can even get the autograph of your favorite driver at the autograph sessions on Sunday!

The Marcus Club, located in the heart of the IndyCar paddock, lets fans take in all of the action from a private viewing platform.  This VIP club will feature appearances by members of the legendary open-wheel racing family Michael and Marco Andretti, as well as other IndyCar drivers and legends. Marcus Club members can interact with these stars during exclusive Q&A and autograph sessions.

IndyCars aren’t the only things racing during IndyFest. The World Championships of Rickshaw Racing takes place all weekend with two qualifying races on Saturday and the championship race on Saturday. Featuring some of the best and brightest stars in Rickshaw Racing, this is one event not to be missed!

What Do You Have To Do?

Tell me why you should be able to go, and the best thing about Indy Car Racing for you (or your guest) and we’ll pick a winner tomorrow by 5pm CST! You also MUST be able to travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin THIS weekend – August 15-16, 2014, no exceptions.

You will also need to fill out paperwork regarding the win before anything is released! To whomever wins, have a BLAST! I know that I sure did while in Milwaukee!

Good luck!

I would send my husband because (1) he is a huge car person and (2) he works his butt off to help me with my blog and I can never repay him for all he does.

It would be a great getaway with my wife, we are in Waukegan, IL so it would be a quick trip. I always wanted to go to an Indy race for the experience. Indy car is such an unique sport with the open frame and the cars itself

This would be a first and probably once in a lifetime experience for me (actually us!). The best thing would have to be seeing the cars move at otherwise illegal speeds!
