Hershey’s Chocolate Spread Cookies

Hershey’s Chocolate Spread Cookies
Chocolate Spread Cookies

Hey there! I’m back with an ACTUAL recipe! This one is super easy to do, and only requires a whopping four ingredients!  This is inspired by my participation in an old platform in exchange for my opinion. This time they sent me Hershey’s Chocolate Spread in the chocolate hazelnut flavor last month. I’m pretty certain that you can use any other chocolate-y spread to make these Chocolate Spread Cookies.

I couldn’t figure out what to do with it, other than put it on toast for the kids – a special treat and something that we have done with another chocolate hazelnut spread. However, in my quest to do a little more with what I have, I started searching around the net for things to do with spreads other than spread copious amounts on toast.

Enter these cookies.

Chocolate Spread Cookies

These are perfect for an afternoon group cookie baking marathon.

1 cup of flour
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of Hershey’s Chocolate Spread
2 eggs

Hersheys Cookie Ingredients

Mix until all of the ingredients are combined. It’s going to be pretty thick. Almost like a paste, but not as creamy as icing/frosting.

After that, you spoon it onto a greased baking sheet, or in my case, a baking sheet lined with parchment paper because you are too anxious to attempt another step in anticipation of taking photos and showing your kids that you indeed bake from scratch AND before 11 o’clock at night.  These are going into a 350-degree oven for 10 minutes, and you’re done. This made enough for an afternoon snack for three very impatient littles.

Chocolate Spread Cookies

Apparently, taking photos of cookies is frowned upon in this establishment.

Highly.

I got thirteen non-scientifically measured cookies from this recipe. Ask me if any of them are left after writing this blog post.

They aren’t too sweet, and they aren’t crunchy. It’s good enough for me to give my kids a snack that isn’t running over in sugar, and still has a touch of chocolate.

I can see myself making these again. Maybe with some add-ins like pecans, or something. We’ll see.

Until then – make it a fantastic day!

Hi Tiffany,

Thank you for coming through! I'm usually not all up in arms about things like that, but I kind of feel weird about the scoring. LOL! C'est la vie though, right? The cookies were really simple with just enough sweet to satisfy my children. I love the hazelnut flavor, and I think that I'm going to try them in the middle of crescent rolls today. We'll see. Stay connected though, I tend to try to do things with my Crowdtap gifts every now and again. Have a GREAT day!
