Guilty

I am guilty of being a wedding lover.

Therefore, I stayed up after my usual six o’clock in the morning trek to the bathroom (don’t judge) and turned on the television to watch the end of the royal wedding of William and Kate. Several things stand out to me.

Her dress is BEAUTIFUL! Timeless, classic, sophisticated, fresh. Still sexy while being traditional.
Prince William looks older than me. He’s still quite attractive, but it MUST be stressful living life the way that he has to under a microscope.
What is a wedding without a KISS after being deemed husband and wife?!
* I realize how NICE it is to see something HAPPY in the midst of all of the horror that has been going on in the United States.*
That’s going to be some dinner/dance later this evening. Prince William likes hip-hop?! Say Whaaaaaat?!
I wanna get married again – of course to the same person, because he’s perfect. What say you Mr. Nicholes?
Is that a ‘no?’ Well then, I guess looking at our wedding pictures will have to do.

Okay, now I’m going back to bed.

Congratulations to William and Kate (and I know that’s not proper, but I don’t have time to look up the proper titles)
Toodles!

I watched for hours!! So many in fact that I was late for work this morning. I love the sense of history, tradition, the love of country and the whimisical, fairy tale like quality of the entire thing.

There's something about a Royal Wedding that transports me back to being a little girl. Someone is actually becoming a princess or in her "official" title Duchess of Cambridge, etc…etc…

Her dress was absolutely beautiful and not too fluffy, so classic! SO much so, that I would LOVE to have a shirt dress like that – it reminds me of a fifties house wife silhouette.
