Your Bathroom Routine: Let’s Talk It Out

Thank you to Cottonelle for sponsoring this post and keeping my bum clean! #LetsTalkBums

Hi there! I’m back again, talking about bathroom routines, and yep, we’re going to go the Full Monty. Well, no nude photos here, but you get the drift. We’re talking bathroom routines again here on the blog, and this time, we’re going to focus on the Twizzlers and their bathroom habits. Yuck. Mostly Sir Twizzler, and he may have issues with me later on in life, but meh, that’s what therapists are for.  I’ve now introduced them to the Cottonelle Clean Care Routine, and they know to use it. I score extra points in the great budgeting department by using the CVS Cottonelle Coupon to get them.

After potty training my very wonderful threenager, I had to start working on bathroom cleanliness. Especially after bowel movements. Let’s just say, that when you’re two years into being used to having someone else wipe your bottom after pooping, it’s kind of hard to get out of feeling like royalty. Lil Miss has no problem screaming for help when she potties, but Sir Twizzler is good for using the potty and then pretending like it didn’t happen, and then we find out it did, in fact, happen later when we’re washing clothes.  Then that’s when we get the big eyes from Sir Twizzler, and the hugs.

Houseful Of Nicholes- Sir-Twizzler

When I stopped by CVS during my last shopping trip, I picked up another combo of the Cottonelle toilet tissue and the Flushsable Cleaning Cloths with the coupon that I have below. Saving $1.50 off of the combo makes it even sweeter.

Now, we still have a while to go with making sure that the bathroom routine of the twizzlers is as smooth as it should be, but it’s coming along. They now look at the cleansing cloths whenever they are in the bathroom and dare I say, look forward to making sure that they are spic and span before coming out and continuing their play. Now, if you ask me if they know the entire washing of hands routine – they are on TOP of that. They have even pointed out, very loudly, in public bathrooms when other people don’t wash their hands. I’ve learned to just keep a straight face and keep it moving.

Now, they know the routine so well, that Mor Mor Baby (my mom) has now had to go and purchase the Cottonelle Clean Care Routine for when the littles visit her house. They’ve even told her that she HAS to have the flushable wipes on the back of the commode (how’s that for a throwback) and will make sure that they are there before they use the bathroom.

Do you all use flushable wipes in your bathroom routine? Are you comfortable talking about it? I come from a VERY open family, and I’m all for the conversation that can happen in the comments, AND suggestions for making sure that Sir Twizzler keeps his cleaning habits up.

I haven't been about using any sort of flushable wipe, Cottonelle or otherwise, in my life. I never even thought about them before Kyle Barker on living single said that he used them. I guess dry wiping would not be as thorough as wet wiping. I'll check them out!
