In 2009 our somewhat smaller Houseful decided to trek our way to Washington, DC to witness the inauguration of then first time President, Barack Obama. After the election results came in yesterday, we figured that we would go ahead and make sure that the smallest additions to the Houseful would also be able to say that they were a part of history.

Even when we differ, help us to share, to serve…

We will be trekking to DC again in January for the inauguration of the President.

While we are not rich by any means, we have always been blessed to travel freely. We’ve driven all over the East Coast, Southern States and Midwest, now we just need to go West.

I love that my family is one that enjoys car trips (maybe everyone but the cellist at the moment) and that we plan ahead for times to stop and enjoy the scenery around us.

While we are traveling I will be Instagramming the progress and even live blogging about it, so if you want and have civil words, please follow along! You can also check us out via my Twitter handle @HFofNicholes or the Facebook Fan page.
